Carolina Delgado was born in the city of San José (capital of Costa Rica) in 1982, where she grew up near rural landscapes and her love for the natural landscapes grew enormously. Throughout her life, Carolina had always felt fascination by color and how this can be a means to represent her inner world to be shared with others, so naturally, she was attracted by drawing and painting. Her interest was cultivated during the adolescence, and it developed much more when she decided to instruct herself in different artistic workshops, taking different courses of art in drawing, painting and sculpture. Her interest was fully turned to painting and drawing when she had the opportunity to travel to Turkey, where she currently resides. She had taken courses in illuminted texts (tezhip) and the art of miniatures (Turk miniyatur) that has contributed greatly to the quality of her drawing and color.
Carolina currently focuses more on her practice as a plastic artist with themes that include the landscape and fantasy in her works. You will appreciate the quality of the colors and details which have as a result, a more delicate work.
Carolina lives in the city of Ankara (Turkey), surrounded by ancient cultures where she continues her journey of learning the arts.
